No more trying to match sound to lip movement you can't see due to a work copy VHS or 1" Beta that is too fuzzy to be certain.   Combine that feature with instantaneous spotting of any segment of the show by just clicking on the time line.   Need 30 seconds 4 frames at the top or 1hour 2 minutes and 19 frames at the end - just click. No more rewind or fast forward.
